Default US & Canadian SU differences?

Hi

Hope you'll forgive me asking another question this evening and help me out.

Are the Us SU catalogues and Canadian catalogues always the same?

Are US dollars and Canadian dollars the same value? ie: I am in the Uk (getting embarrassed saying these all the time) and if i bought something from the US SU catalogue (I know I can't-it's just a scenario) would it cost the same as from the Canadian catalogue? For example a classic ink pad in the US catalogue is $5.25, is that the same in Canada?

If something was $20 on ebay US would it be the same price and value in Canada?

Sorry to ask an odd question but I am ashamed to say i don't know the difference between canadian and Us dollars. Hope I'm making myself clear, finding it hard to explain what i mean?

Thanks as ever.

Catalogues:
The catalogues are extremely similar. The Canadian one has some french sets that are not available in the US and the American catalogue has a Spanish version that is not available in Canada.

Dollars:
The US dollar is, right now, stronger than the Canadian dollar by about 10 cents. So $1 US = $1.10 CDN.

SU Price Comparison:
can of worms ... kidding! It's definitely improved. An inkpad here (Canada) is $6.25.

As to purchase value:
depends on the market! Generally speaking, the American market is much cheaper than the Canadian one. I know that I purchase most craft supplies from the US rather than Canada. Shipping rates are cheaper, product is less expensive.

Hope that helps!

Thank you so much!

I am educated now! It's awful we know so little about other countries, even our own I suppose.

Thank you so much for explaining it all and for understanding me! This has helped me alot, thank you.
