Karen posted how she created the Santa Chimney:

The Santa & the chimney were cut from the Cricut cartridge "Simply Charmed". I made this card for my granddaughter in 2010. The chimney base is one piece, the bricks cut out all at once & you place them on the chimney. The snow is another piece (I cut it from glitter cardstock). I cut the "shadow" feature in black which really makes it stand out. I popped up the chimney so that the santa could be moved in & out of the chimney. The santa is actual an entire body so you can place him in front of the chimney if you want. This was very easy to do altho it looks difficult!

Regarding Mindy's question on 9/5/12, the faux brick comes from using the Stampin' Up' scoring board; first making the horizontal lines, and then coming back and alternating the vertical lines to give it the "brick" look. Very easy and oh, so cute!

FYI - in response to Mindys question.

The top of the sock from the stocking builder punch offered last year during the holidays from stamping up creates a perfect brick for the chimney and the stocking is used for santas boot. I saw a few cards done using them last season and tried one myself, it was super easy and surprisingly quick too!
