Default aqua painter question

Hi everyone ... I'm thinking of buying the SU! aqua painters. I see that they come in a package of 2 -- medium and large. Is there a big difference in the medium and large? Does this mean that they dont come in small?

he he! I am so silly had the aquapainters for about a year now and never noticed they were two sizes... DUH! Guess that means the size isn't that big of a difference or that I am REALLY unobservant!

MonTigg, that is funny!! Are the SU! aqua painters easy to use? I bought a 3 package of a cheaper kind of aqua brush and they are awful. I'm gonna put them directly in the garbage. You cannot control the water flow at all and they just end up makinga mess. I think I read somewhere that the SU! ones have excellent water control. Obviously that is what I am looking for!

I use my SU! aquapainters all the time! I love the subtle watercolor look they give--easy to control--no mess.

Well, unfortunately you have learned a very important lesson---the hard way. In my opinion, you can never go wrong with SU! products!

The small aquapainter is good for any sort of detail watercoloring. The larger one is good for large areas that you want to wash with color -- sky, grass, whatnot. Btw, I've used both SU and non-SU aquapainters and the SU ones hold up better and are easier to fill.

I love my aqua painters and use whichever one I grab first!!

So far, I haven't felt the need for a smaller one but would buy one if SU came out with it!

I store mine standing up, filled, in a glass jar with my other brushes. I have been very impressed with the fact that they don't leak while using them or even when squeezing (lightly) to clean!

Do it - you'll be happy with them. They give a totally different look than the blender pens.

I've worn out the tip of my medium and never use the large. A small would be great. I'll keep an eye out for one.

I used the medium to draw a teeny tiny flag on my Christmas card. It does have fine tip for smaller stamped images.
