Question Apricot Appeal masquerading as So Saffron!

Tonight I used my So Saffron inkpad for the first time (pretty color just not my usual color family). It looked brighter than I thought it should be, but chalked that up to not having used it before.

I closed it and set it to the side and when I went to use it again, it was upside down and I saw an Apricot Appeal sticker. Thinking it was a different pad, I continued to look for my So Saffron until I realized that I had an Apricot Appeal inkpad with an Apricot Appeal sticker on the bottom, and So Saffron on the cover!! Thank goodness I had markers in the same colors so I could figure out the puzzle.

Anyone else run into this mix-up?

When I bought this, I was "in between" demos and I don't remember who I bought it from. Any suggestions on how to get it replaced without going through them??

That sounds awful. There really is no ethical way to do it except through the demo you bought it from. If you have a demo now you should ask her about it. It might be something she still can call and ask herself.

Couldn't you just contact SU! directly? I've heard of people doing this for dry pads and such....just a thought.

Stop saying "I can't". You can. You just chose not to.

Wink Anyone else have an imposter?

Actually, I'll probably just purchase a replacement - it seems like the easiest solution to me! Thanks for the suggestions.

What I'm really curious about is if anyone else has come across this with their pads - you might want to check the bottom of your So Saffron!! ;)

I haven't had this happen to me, but that is really odd! I would recommend that you contact whoever your demo is now and see if she can call SU for you!

I second the suggestion of calling your current demo. Even if it turns out she didn't place that particular order for you, I can't imagine she wouldn't try and help you. You shouldn't have to pay to replace the pad.
