Default Appropriate Quote Question

So I've been searching for a quote to place in a card that I am sending to someone that terminally ill. I don't know her all that well but I want to cheer her up. But I haven't found anything that seems to fit. Does anyone have any suggestions for me. What do you normally use card wise for a situation like this?

I would normally send a "thinking of you" type card. And just write a little note telling them that I am there for them if they need anything.

I ususally write something like Hope today is a good day but I'd be interested in seeing what others have to say! I also have a set of acrylic stamps with a quote that says, Sending you a little prayer that God will keep you in his care; I like that but it's not "cheery" per se!

I don't know about this specific situation, but I have found a lot of good sentiments here: http://www.ink-stains.com/

My method is to copy an item into my documents, then print on the inside of the card. In this case, I have not been able to copy and paste, so just retype (from one open window to another). In case you have not done this before, it works ok to set up desired margins, then set for 2 columns and have the verse at the top of the right side column. I'll gladly give more details or answer a pm if this is not clear.

It is a fairly new site, and there are some other cool things, too - I have used some of the background templates.

This is slightly off the subject, but have only seen the past couple of SU catalogs. Are there any sympathy sets, from the past that are especially good? Can't find one that really grabs me.
Thanks for the info on the quote site. Finding the right one for a terminally ill person, that will not get better, is so hard.

I should have added - from the ink-stains.com site, go to "community". There are, in my opinion, some good ideas under "thinking of you" and also "support".
Sometimes you have to scroll for a while!

Default seriously ill

Here are some words that I have used:

front - Where love is
inside - We see light even in the dark places.

front- Life's hard journey can be endured if we travel hand in hand
inside - I'm here for you

Wishing you strength and courage in this difficult time. With Thoughts and Prayers

Front: Hope Peace Love Comfort
Thinking of you and wish for you gifts of the heart to lift your spirits.

Front: Sometimes life takes us down an unexpected path
Inside but you don't have to travel that path alone. I am right here bside you because that's what friends are for.

I hope these can be used. I keep my Current catalogs and get verses from them.

am not sure about this, but I found these on Two Peas in a Bucket under the resources/pea soup.

may the sun bring you new energy by day.
may the moon softly restore you by night.
may the rain wash away your worries.
may the breeze blow new strength into your being.
may you walk gently throught the world
and know its beauty all the days of your life.
unknown

There is strength within the heart
revealing the divine capacity
of the human spirit.
