Anyone want to help Cheer Up my DD?
 

HI ALL
i have a question...MY 15yr dd well she was hit with some hard news today and being a teenager it was bad in her eyes..In January she fractured her foot at a Pom's competition and walked on it for almost a month and even kept practicing and games cause the urgent care told her nothing wrong well finally i took her to a orthopedic dr and he put her in a walking cast..on Tuesday she went for a recheck and its not getting better so he put her on no weight bearing on that foot so she was on crutches..Well she tripped on the crutches the other day and did damage to the tendons in the good foot so now she is in a cast on both feet..She is now in a wheel chair HOW DEVASTATING IS THAT FOR A TEENAGER..
If anyone wants to cheer her up i would love to surprise her with cards from my Fellow SCS..You can PM me and i will give you my address...

Bumping for cheer

thanks Meghan doesn't even know about what i am doing she was i n my office just a few ago and i had to close down the thread so she didnt see it she keeps bumping into the walls with her wheel chair and is getting so frustrated with it and its only been a day. I told her just think of all the kids and adults that have to live in them for the rest of there lives. So now she has a better way of thinking that its hard to have a disability

I put my card in the mail today! Has she received any cards from anyone yet? Mine should be there Monday, considering the blizzard!!!!!!

Nope she hasnt gotten any yet .....they should start coming in on monday hopefully...i will compile a list of ppl that sent them and post the list and thanks everyone all at once...I cant wait to see her face i am also going to have her sit at the table with her cards around her and take a picture and post it in my gallery...

I feel her pain!!! I broke my hand and my tail bone roller skating 3 days before I was to start the 11th grade!!! I will never forget how embarrassing that was!!!

Poor girl!!! Find someplace to airbrush something really cool on her casts, it took a lot of attention away from my donut for sitting... ;)

i wanted to stamp her casts but since they are the boot kind it wont work unless i guess i can use stazon..on the bright side she can take them off to shower but she has to sleep in those also and we are trying differant ways of covering the boot part cause the 1st one she was able to walk on for a bit so its kinda dirty .i jsut feel so bad for her the winter formal was tonight thank god it got canceled(due to blizzard) cause she had her dress and a date. so that was a bummer also.She is worried about going back to school on tuesday she thinks that she will get teased.

I am so excited to see meghan's face today when the mail comes i hope the mail man has so many wishes for meghan that he has to bring the mail to the door cause they wont fit in the box...i will let you all know how many she gets today....

Mine is in the mail finally. Hope she is starting to get mail. When I was 10 I broke my left arm. A week later I broke my right arm. Had both in casts for what seemed like forever! Meghan is fortunate that she can take the casts off to shower because those babies ITCH after a while, and you can't reach the itchy places even with a clothes hanger!LOL! Talk about going nuts!!!!!! (And,to add insult to injury, my MOM had to bathe me becuse I couldn't do it myself!) Anyway hope the cards brighten her day. SCS'ers are great aren't they?

Heading to the post office in few minutes to send a card off. . . Being a teenager is hard. . . hope DD feels better with a few cards coming her way! :-)
