Mine are started. I also have 4 sets of cards that people want from me. I better get started. I have the seligh full toys. I love that set. For my own use to send to family & friends, I CASED two cards from the gallery. Don't have the names handy here at work. Proper credit will be given when they are sent out. I also love the snow flake set that has been in the catty. I did a sample one using Bashful Blue as the base, Brocade blue as a layer with the torn edge, and sliver ribbon. The same blue ink colors were use to. I then added a sliver snowflake charm. It came out neat.

Your kids start school in two weeks? When did their holidays begin? My kids still have until the first week of September.
Sorry for the hijack.

Yea, my kids start back the 13th of August also. They have been out since the end of May. I'm not ready for them to go back.

I've done a few --all different designs. This is my first year stamping & I'm probably only going to send the handmade ones to a select few --the people who I know will appreciate them!! I can't seem to make the same card twice --I get bored too easily, plus there are so many cute holiday sets out there, that I can't pick just one!!

I've started mine too ... have about 10 done ... I love making Christmas cards, they are by way my favourite cards to make. I also seem to make only one of a particular kind of card ... so all my cards are different ... I am telling myself to keep going at this pace and all will be good!

The kids start school on August 7th. School ended the last week in May....so they had 8 weeks off. It is nice because it is so hot here, and they might as well be at school, I love it that they have a week off in October and March for breaks, plus their two week Christmas break...the weather is much nicer then, so they can be outside and play.

LOL me too!! Wallet-sized photos of the kids and all!!
This year I am going to get wallet-sized photos of the kids for this year and then put them BOTH on cards that I make and put the years underneath each pic -- most people that get the cards will laugh because they kept asking, "where's my picture" and now they can see two years at a time, LOL.

I havent started to make them yet, but I have designed one, and have some ideas for some others. I should start now, but will probably wait a while longer.

I have started to make some Christmas cards for a craft fair that I plan on having a table at in November at my husbands work. Hopefully it will be a worth the time that I will have to put into it. I am planning on making cards, memo pads, composition books, candles and book marks and my husband is planning on making some poems and I will stamp the borders around them.
I just find this time of year that I don't have enough time to get things done. When the weather gets a bit cooler then I guess I will be back at it more.

Made cards for both my Mom to send, and for my own family last year. WHEW. I think I will do a photo card this year, haven't done one of my girls in a few years. (tempted to do the Walgreens kind and even have names printed!!)...
No, thinking about stamping either around a photo window on front of card, or doing something to make the photo part of the card.....???

I've completed probably about 90 or so of mine. I joined the Christmas Card Challenge that started in January. It is not too late to join if you need the extra push!
I have been doing roughly 15 a month, with each month a different design. Hope that helps!!
You can see what I've done in my gallery (lame excuse for needing validation....)

Off subject for just one sec...Your little "Hank" is too cute, congrats!:-D
I have made 2 Christmas cards so far but I definitely think that I am going to use my Peaceful Wishes set (since it is the only Christmasey set I have!).

Has anyone thought about using VOILA for a Christmas Card? And, put gingerbread men, or sweets on his tray? Or, do you not think that is Christmassy enough?

Thanks for the input. I have Voila, and while I am not a chef extrodinaire, I like the guy! He reminds me of the kitchen scene in Little Mermaid.
Anyway, a gift, a few cookies, a bon bon from Oh So Sweet, on his tray.??? Maybe has potential?? His scarf could be in holiday colors? Mmm.....

If you colored him in red, could he pass for Santa in the kitchen?

It was a challenge but we were determined to have them done in July! Originally we said no ribbons, eyelets, brads....didn't work on one card as they all ended up with embellishments and layers

I received my TAC Xmas stamps and papers last week and sat down the other night and stamped all of the main images like 10 times each and STARTED painting them with Twinkling H2Os. That's as far as I've gotten, since I have 2 swaps to mail out first.

I've been having fun with my snowman punch today, after resolutely ignoring the phone and doing some laundry too. By the end of today I may have 10 cards done.
