I was on the forums early this morning (around 7am EST) and noticed the forums and the gallery had a new skin (looked different). Was I dreaming or
did anyone else see this too?!?!?!
I saw that mess this a.m., too. Looked like it was under construction with empty boxes with red x's in them. It seems to be all right now, though, so it must have been a temporary abberation.
I was on the second it happened last night and posted a thread about it. Daven posted and said it's temp for now, but will be permanent at some point-no timeframe given.
I think that it depends on when you looked. Kathy must have logged in when some of the pieces were missing. When I saw it everything was white and offwhite. No contrast at all. It would be hard to tell where one message began or another ended.
That's why Daven said it was under construction (in another post). Probably the format will go back and forth for awhile until they choose just one. I'm not sure if the Bulletin software he is using allows for a lot of choices. When I helped set up a website for a non-profit org, we chose this same blue design. And, we only had about a dozen choices. It wasn't nearly as much fun as stamping. LOL
this has been a "pending" change for months now. months! there are still some issues to be resolved, some cleaning up to do, and some visual design changes. I'm prepared to be *much* happier with it though, once it's finally turned on for good.
it should not only be more visually pleasant, but easier to navigate (forums and gallery) - more logically arranged, stuff that's used more often made more prominent, lower priority items less visible, etc.

Sounds good to me !
