Question Anyone heard of the set Friendship Gardens?

Recently I bought some stamps off ebay from a lady and one set I received was called Friendship Gardens. I was just looking through the Set Lists in the Gallery and I am not seeing it. When I did a search, I found one card that was uploaded with it back in 2004.

Guess I'm just wondering why it's not on here and where should I upload my cards when I've used this set?

Thanks for any help you can provide!

According to my notes, Friendship Gardens retired in 2003 -- its 'vintage' is probably the reason there aren't more samples using it. If you upload cards using it as the main stamp set, I'd go ahead and list it that way. Who knows, you might start a trend!

Happy trails....

Although some retired set categories were initially in place here at SCS, it became obvious that, given the mammoth size of the galleries, they really could not continue to add more retired sets--they had to draw the line somewhere, as the gallery is already challenging enough to manage as it is, and growing exponentially even more so, with hundreds of uploads daily.

Sidebar: Just as a general tidbit of SCS Trivia--What originally used to be handled by Jenn and Beate back in SCS's very early days, now requires a literally a team of volunteer gallery moderators who each contribute daily shifts of several hours, to the maintenance and care of the galleries here. I think at this point, one spent every day in the galleries, one wouldn't be able to see even half of it, by the end of a year. It's just *that* huge. ;)

If there is no set for a sample you wish to upload, I encourage you to upload it to your Member Gallery, and put the title of the set into the keywords box or in the photo description box. That way, anybody searching for that set would be able to find your sample featuring it, at the very least!

HTH!

Thanks for all the feedback! I think it's a beautiful set and can't wait to make some cards with it!

I bought Friendship Gardens when it was first in the catalog and I still think it is a cool set even tho I haven't used it in a while. (Too many newer sets to choose from.) I'll look forward to seeing your posts with it. Enjoy!
