so far i have only seen the download version.
the main thought i have is why oh why oh why are so many stamps going double mounted...
(hate that)
next thought is SU should start selling the blank wood blocks for all the people like me who scour ebay for the dang things... ( they sell empty plastic boxes so why not?)

so far from one quick flip through the online version i seen 5 sets that interest me (mostly double mounted ones) the scallop punch and a few of the in colors... so it will be an easy on the pocket book edition is my thought.

It's so funny...I love this catalog!!! And, I'm 100% happier because I was not a fan of the last one at all. I'm into the more "kiddie" stamps anyway for some reason. I get so jealous of all of the beautiful cards everyone makes and all I can come up with are kiddie one! LOL!

LOL, I think that's the point! They will never hit 100% of the people 100% of the time. For everybody that loves, say, the sillhouette stamps, there's somebody that only likes line art images to watercolor, or vintage/collage-type stamps. SU can't afford to zero in on one market, they need to reach a lot of folks. So, sometimes my list is miles long, and others it's more manageable.

Same with that pesky wood, lol! There are rumbles that people think SU should go completely unmounted, which is not what wood-mounted stampers want to hear. So perhaps SU is attempting a compromise by double mounting some sets, such as alphabets and these latest ones they're doing. Just can't make everybody 100% happy, ya know? I just look for the stuff I love...

I too was disappointed in the new catty. I usuallly buy two or three sets of Halloween and Christmas; this year NONE! It looks like it will be accessories from this catty. It was very surprised to see so many sets from previous mini's and stamps that were repackaged from retired sets.

I am not sad that I dropped out of my SU club. I don't care for the new catalog. I only like one set and I am not going to get it as I own probably over 1000 stamps. Cyndi
