Default ? about new classic ink pads...

I've noticed on the new ink pads I got today that there are different dots on the part that faces you when it's put away...anyone know the significance of these dots? Are they relevant to color families...ie, bold brights has two dots, soft subtles has three and rich regals has four??

Yes, they represent the color families...

Thumbs up

Wow, isn't that clever? Now I don't have to try and remember where all 48 pads belong! I have them according to color families and when I get out more than a couple at a time, I can't remember what family they belong to!!

That is so cool! How did you figure that out? (maybe I'm just dense!)

Most of mine are the old style pads, and I always had trouble remembering the families when I first started stamping. I just used a Sharpie and marked the bottom of each case with the first letter of the color family it belonged to. Works like a charm!

I am so glad you mentioned this - I hadn't even noticed them, and I am continually struggling to get them put away in the right family so I can find them easily! Thanks!

I love the dots!! It makes it so much easier to keep my stamp pads organized in the color caddy!!
