Hello everyone! I was hoping someone could help me figure out how to punch holes in chipboard. The stuff I have is pretty thick and my hand held just won't do it. Is there a tool out there that does it? My husband says he could drill a hole in it, but there has to be some gadget out there!
Can anyone help???
Thanks,
Samsmommy
I have to say WOW!! I have a Silent Setter that I just love. But I'd heard such great things about the Crop-a-Dile that I decided to use my HL 40% off coupon on one. And all the hype is true! I still have a bunch of old MM eyelets that I wasn't using since they were so hard to set. I just punched thru chipboard (E-Z!) and set the MM eyelet with NO EFFORT at all. I'll still use my Silent Setter since the reach of the C-A-D is so limited and it won't work on a lot of my scrapping layouts. But this thing is AWESOME. No I don't need to worry about only buying aluminum eyelets!
The Crop-a-Dile is fantastic! I got mine at my LSS when I dropped off my daughter for a b-day party. The owner did a demo for me, and I was sold! Best tool for the $, IMO!
I was gonna say that I just get really mad at my DH and then go punch holes in chipboard, but then I thought it might be too snarky, LOL!
There are days I'm pretty sure I could punch holes in something a little bit tougher than chipboard...his head maybe? But then he does something really sweet so I guess it balances out.
My Memories Direct eyelet tool came with a fancy, scary bit that can punch through tin and I am pretty sure chipboard too. I love this tool; I can punch anything, anywhere with it!
