Default Any Surprising SU Sets that are on Your Wish List?

I have a few sets that were not on my original wish list that for some reason i kept getting drawn to and ended up ordering first, LOL.

For me it is Voila-at first I passed it by but I kept staring at ot and now I am excited about that set the most! I can think of putting so many things on his tray-including little beer mugs for my DH!!! Plus the snail from Bugs n Kisses (another must have-but i knoew that already, LOL) or from Unfrogettable. I actually have woken up thinking about this set-YIKES!

So what sets have popped put at you that are not in your normal taste?

I'm not really "into" the retro thing, but the birthday set Eat Cake is just too cute! I love the sparkler-type candles and the funky-ness of the set even though it isn't my usual style.

The Skunk!!! At first glance, I thought "gee, that's cute" but now that I'm seeing samples and looking at it again, I'm just IN LOVE!!! And DH sure doesn't want to see my wish list getting BIGGER. LOL!!

There are two for me......

ssshhh....

Super Squirrel and No Place Like Gnome (now what in the world would I do with either of these sets??!!) For some reason I can't stop looking at these two sets! I really just want the flamingos and especially the gnome from the one set. But I'll tell you, I don't think I will be happy until I put them on my next order!

I like what someone suggested about using the kissing technique for the squirrel.

I keep coming back to Birthday Beauty (the pageant contestant). That sentiment --wishing the person beauty and world peace -- just cracks me up!

I know you're going to laugh at this, because this is so last year of me. But I love Best of Cluck and this year I'm gonna get it. And another set that keeps drawing me is Peaceful wishes. I think I gotta have that too.

Well, I don't actually have a wish list because I went through the catalog and ordered everything I wanted in one fell swoop! It came to around $450.00. My demonstrator threw in a few orders so that I could get $60.00 in free merchandise, two level one sets and 1 one level 2 set! I'm a happy stamper!
The one that's not my usual is Festive Four. I rarely, if ever, buy holiday sets, but that one really grabbed me!

You guys have mentioned other ones that have caught my eye. I think the giant tail for the skunks and squirrels are going to be "kissed" quite often, can't wait to see what else the creative minds here come up with!

My sis ter loves lawn ornaments and each year she gets a new pair-so I think she will be getting the lawn ornaments set. Plus she LOVES pink flamingoes so I want to see how quickly she zones in on those!

I made my wish list and Artfully Asian was very low priority, but it has moved up. Peaceful Wishes didn't even make my list initially, but now it's on it but still low priority.

I have to prioritize since I can only order $50 per month including paper and accessories.

One of my weird high priorities is Stampin' Fun for Everyone. I think that gal is swell and will make for some fun cards to my stampin' friends.

Ladybuds. I dunno even WHY I am liking it so much, but there ya' have it.

Warm Words. The Level 1 Hostess set, similar in style, from last year didn't tug at me, but this set does and even though I had it on my wish list, but not necessarily IMH (Initial Must-Have), I put it on my first order.

Peaceful Wishes. Now, I RARELY, if EVER, buy a holiday set, and certainly not in the middle of summer, for cryin' out loud--I usually use images from other all-occasion sets to do my holiday greetings. But, this one, just said, "You want me, and you know it. Put me in the cart, honey, and don't look back."

So, I did.

I am NOT a cute person. (well, I may be cute--but I don't usually like cute sets) AND I am NOT a Halloween person (I just can't get into it) BUT

I am getting excited about "Booglie Eyes". It just makes me giggle. I also imagine getting two different sizes of googlie eyes to glue on to those little guys.

Booglie Eyes was the first on my wishlist, and is on it's way to me along with Happy Camper and the matching wheel. Others I"m going to wait and see about, but I do like Voila too, and the gnomes (both of them).

Booglie Eyes is on my stamp club list for this month (I joined as well). I have lots of ideas using the circle punches with this set-cannot wait (and I think they should sell wiggly eyes with it automatically-it cannot be any cuter!)

i just came across a set today to add to my wishlist.... "What a Hoot"
i am not a Halloween person at all, i've never bought a halloween stamp set or even stamped one single halloween card but that little owl in that set would be so cute for some fun cards and the star and circle can be used for other things and who knows maybe i would stamp my first halloween card if i got it?

I just ordered enough to get a level3 hostess set and still have a huge wish list. Next I have to get Polka Dot Posies and Pattern of friendship before the Summer mini is over. I guess I just want it all. Maybe next year the catty won't have so many sets that I want. I think I am already into my next years stampin budget.

I agree! I just can't resist that sentiment and the beauty queen with a tear in her eye. I ignored it the first 100 times through the catty, but now it's a "Must Have" for me!

Mine is Take 3...passed it over, not on my wish list, didn't order it...now, after seeing 1 specific card...I think it will be on my next order.

On my first order was: First In Fashion, Wild About You, Headline Alpha (been eyeing that one for 12 months!), By Land, City of David (for mom). With my hostess $ I got Background Sampler and the hostess set Tags so Much (love the spider!)

I made a list and split everything into "like it", "love it" and "NEED it". Stampin' Fun for Everyone went from "love it" to "NEED it" overnight. I just kept getting drawn back to it - I love the 50s cheesy lady and just can't wait to play with it when it arrives in August!!!!

Kissing the squirrel's tail... eeeew! But, again, I keep getting drawn back to that set. The squirrel is a bit weird, though.

I ordered both Ahoy Matey and Birthday Beauty even though I have no children (yet). They are both just too cute! I'm also eyeing Voila and Stinkin' Cute. I am also drawn to City of David, but I'm going to wait to see the Holiday Mini before buying any Christmas sets. My first order was $503, so I need to hold off at least until after convention before I order anymore. (It is only 3 days away - I should be able to make it.)
