So it seems there was much more than a 5% increase.
If the price was 119.95 then 5% is just about $6 which means theI expected them to be $125.95. The price in the catalog is way high- it's a bit over a 10% increase. They are great markers but add in tax and shipping, and SU might be pricing itself out of my reach. Maybe it would have been better if I had just known they were raising prices, and not have been told it was going to be a 5% increase- because having expected that- now these are really expensive.

The price increase is supposed to be an across the board increase. Which means most things are going up in price. Some will be more than 5 percent, some will be less but overall should average out to 5 percent.

just be glad your not in Canada not only is it an increase but the prices are higher as well. With the exchange rate as it is. It wuould be cheaper for me to buy from a US demo and ship them to me!

It's all just way to exciting. I have to say from what I have read here, the accessories sound like they are going up way more than 5% so since that was suppose to be the average increase, are their prices that aren't going up?

The prices haven't gone up that much - but now would be a good time to stock up on your favorite ribbon, or those Marvelous Markers!
Some things have gone up, some things are the same. Buttons, pencils, crayons, Staz-On, adhesive, most tools - almost all of those are the same prices.

Does anyone know which color ribbon is not returning? So far I think Hunter and Chocolate are retiring in the thinner size?

Some blog said ribbon is going up 38% when you compare price and yardage - I definately want to buy ribbon. Just need to know the retiring colors :(

Punches
[QUOTE=Anna741;6230454]I have a question about prices. Are the prices from the Spring Mini carrying over to the new catty, or are they getting the 5% increase?
For example, the Round Tab punch was $13.95 in the Spring Mini. Is it still $13.95 in the new catty, or has the price gone up? Same for the stamp sets that made the new catty: Office Accoutrement, Polka Dots & Petals, etc.
QUOTE]
I'm one of the few who have rec'd a copy of the new cattie - I'm a demo.
In the new cattie
Punches
Round Tab is 15.95
Tag, Small Tag, Key Tag are each 15.95
Large oval and Small oval are also 15.95
Office accoutrement 31.95
Polka Dots & Petals 17.95

Wouldn't any new sets like this be unveiled in the spring/summer catty? They wouldn't really fit in with fall/winter themes kwim?

Since they are all only 3 or 4 stamps are they pretty inexpensive?

Well fall is veterans day. So that's military/patriotic. But I agree 4th of July is when most people use them.

The current catty shows 6 sets in the picture - are they taking out a set as a way to keep the price the same on the kit??? I'm another one getting ready to sign on as a demo, but I'd rather get the extra set if I can, if that's the case. I understand no one has the new demo kit info yet, but if the pictures are different ...
Thanks to you all who are sharing!!!! Can't wait to be "on the other side"! LOL

Actaully, isn't that a 100% price increase? If you were to buy the same 1oz it would now cost you $9.50 with the new prices. That is more than 100% increase. That's seems like a lot to me!

I keep hearing there's only a 5% overall increase but I have yet to see what's under 5%. Everything I'm seeing is at least a 10% increase.
What didn't go up?
