Default Any Myrtle Beach SC area stamp stores?

We're leaving for Myrtle Beach, SC in a few weeks for vacation. Does anyone know of any stamp stores in and/or around the area. We'll have a car so driving is not a problem. Also, we're on vacation with nothing to do, so driving for a little bit is not a concern either

Thanks!!

Hi! There was a small stamp store in the Surfside Beach area last year (just south of Myrtle Beach), but I don't know if it's still there. Otherwise, you'd have to go to Wilmington, NC (a 30 min - 1.5 hour drive depending on which end of the beach you're staying on). If there are any others in the area I'm not aware of them.

Jodi,

My husband and I are going to Myrtle Beach in July! I can't wait. I am soooo ready for a vacation. I spent a summer there in '93. It will be interesting to see how much it has changed since then.

We were just in Myrtle Beach around Mother's Day. I found a store at Broadway on the Beach it is called 'Scrappin at the Beach'. It is located over near Margaritaville and the Ripley's Aquarium in that complex.

It isn't very large. If my memory serves me well (which I am not too sure about today) - it was mainly scrapbooking but there were some stamping supplies there. They had a nice selection of embelishments - I picked up some that I hadn't seen before to use on cards.

When were you there and where did you stay? We were there from the 7th through the 14th and stayed at the Sheraton Broadway Plantation.

I go to Myrtle Beach every September for our family vacation and never knew of any stamp stores there. I knew about the scrapbook store at Broadway at the Beach but never went in to check it out. Was in a hurry to get to Margaritaville to party! LOL Myrtle Beach is awesome! I hope you have a wonderful vacation! Drink a margarita for me while your there!

We usually stay at the Compass Cove Resort on South Ocean Blvd, right on the ocean.

I just moved to Wilmington, NC and other than the stores listed I don't know of any others in the area. There is a Stamping store called Stamp Works and as a scrapbooking store named The Scrapbook Nook. Both are on the same road and not far from each other and both have websites you can check out before you would take the drive up. I'm dying to a few more stores in the area. Let me know if I can be anymore help.

That's where we always stay too

I didn't know about the little scrapbook store behind Ripley's. I'll have to check it out.

I second the comment about Stampers' Alley in Mooresville, NC.. It's worth taking a detour! The bad news is that it's up for sale!

Thanks

Ok, I need some more info!!! What are the names of the stores? I'm in Ohio and we've decided that we are going to drive some and then stop for the night and finish the drive the next day. I might just have to plan a overnight stop somewhere near a stamp store!!!

Default Stores in Wilmington

I haven't been able to get web links to work on my computer, but here are the sites you can copy paste.

Stampworks is www.stampworksnc.com
and Scrapbook Nook is www.scrapbooknooknc.com

The Rubber Stamper has some other websites listed for some of the others in the area.
