I know this varies depending on the style of card and embellishments used, BUT I was wanting a general guideline to follow. I'm not talking individual cards necessarily, i'm talking packs of 10,20,30...Also, do u mix so they have a variety pack, or do all the same card? any info would be greatly appreciated!

Prices also vary considerbly by location. Since you are in the Land of Oz, a couple of emeralds and a ruby ought to do.
Seriously, prices can be doubled from one place to another-- city, rural, school bazaar, or art gallery.
As for packages, I would suggest you do them up in 10 cards all alike. Then you could give a slight price break to those who buy 2 packs or 3 packs. That way the customer gets to choose between uniformity or variety.
that's a good idea! basically, every year i have friends and family tell me, oh, i should have gotten my christmas cards from you this year, but i forgot you did that, and didn't want to bog you down at the last minute! So, I was hoping to have a starting price to jump from and send out a flyer type thing or call some friends and family and say basically, i do this, remember, and this is how much i charge...i'm thinking about charging 5.00 for a 10 pk? Then like 2.00 off each additional 10 pk, so basically 8.00 for 20, 11.00 for 30...is that too cheap, too expensive?

I'd say too cheap, these are handmade cards and even if they are all the same you put your heart into it. I recently sold some cards for $2.50 each. I'd charge a bit more for singles and give a price break for sets. Just my 2 cents.

Wow I agree too cheap, that's only $.50 a card. Where could you get a card for $.50. I wouldn't charge any less than $15.00 for 10 cards especially if you are using embellishments. Good luck.
so if i did $15 for 10 what would u charge for 20, 30? I used to think i would charge between $1-$2 depending on embellishments, but when u look at charging $2 a card that's $20 for 10 cards, and i know they are handmade, but I can't say i would pay that much for cards, even if they looked awesome...I'm in kansas, and in my city or group of people i guess are mid to low income...I'm thinking if I offered a reasonable rate more people would want them, and tell friends, etc. I have tried to offer classes, but no one has the time to make their own so they say...i dunno, what do u think

The thing about charging less than $2 a card is that you will get plenty of orders but you will also get burned out and discouraged because you are doing so much work and Your time is precious and your talent is worth something. I never sell for less than $2 a card and that is a pretty simple card at that. Think it through. Make sure you are making it worth while for you.
