Default Keiki Kids Charity needs your help!

As many of you know I am a volunteer for the Keiki Cards charity.

Their website address is:

www.keikicards.org

I checked the website today and found the following message:

"Now that we have had an influx of children, we received many toddlers. Now not only do we have a shortfall of cards for the teen boys we now are in need cards for toddlers of either sex. Cards that are not too baby-ish but anything like Disney themes, cute animals, toys, cars, trains, dolls, Dora, Bob The Builder, etc. I am sure you all have many more great ideas then I have! Cards should be simple and bright with maybe one image on the front that a toddler may identify with in their world."

If anyone has some extra cards or can make a few cards to send to the charity, I know they would really appreciate it. They send out over 200 cards a week to help cheer up seriously ill children and need to receive cards all the time in order to mail them out each week.

Thanks!

Deloris

Hi! Thanks, Deloris. I will try to get some cards out to them. Teenage boy cards are hard -- I'll have to think about that one.

Default Cards for teenage boys

Hi,

Here's a few ideas for cards you can make for the teenage boys.

Classic Convertibles stamped in black on white cs. Mounted to black cs then onto red cs.

Set Sail stamped in navy on white cs, then mounted to red, then to navy cs.

Coast to Coast Lighthouses stamped in blue on white paper, mounted to red cs then onto blue.

Wolf stamped in brown onto ivory then mounted to dk green cs then onto brown cs.

Thinking of Father set - the collage looks nice stamped on confetti cs with brown then mounted onto rust cs then onto brown.

Fall leafs stamped randomly over the front of a card.

Any boat scenes work well too.

Hope this gets everyones creative juices flowing.

Thanks again for helping this wonderful organization!

I have been working on some for teenage boys since I saw the info on Rox's email one day. She suggested the pre-paid box from the post office to send them.
200 a week is amazing - great job!!!
