Question Alphabet sets and how they won't fit in the box!

Maybe I am just blonde.....How in the heck do you fit your entire mounted alphabet (like Pure & Simple Alphabet) in the divided case? It's like there is enough room for 4 blocks down each column.....6 columns.....do the math.....I can only make 24 blocks fit! Help!!! What am I doing wrong?

Try turning the stamps. I get 5 in each column this way.

I have tried that and then they seem very "packed" in and crowded.....Am I being too anal? Never mind, I probably am.....

Smoosh them in with a snow shovel? No seriously...I don't have any alphas yet...but shovels seem to help with everything!

I had the same problem with several of my alpha sets. Last time I even called SU, to tell them, and to say I don't like the divided boxes. They wouldn't do anything about the box. Mine were so bad when they arrived they were open and all over the big box. I asked for a replacement clear box, but she said no. I never did get them to fit, so I transferred them to a box I bought!

hmmm, have several alphabets and never have had a problem. I have the pure and simple, tidy, brushstroke, collage and they all seem to fit fine in the channel boxes. well, good luck finding a solution !

I have the same problem, but it doesn't really bug me too much. They fit, pushed down hard with a few uneven edges, but I can close the box. Kind of annoying, though. Why don't they make a box big enough to fit these sets? Other stamp sets are in a box way to big for the set ... JMHO

OK, so I'm not crazy....Not entirely anyway. I have purchased them and had the box totally poof open with blocks everywhere....it's crazy, they just need to make the channels a "wee" bit wider to fit the blocks sideways. I think I will purchase some empty clear boxes without the "helpful" dividers and store them that way. But it shouldn't be up to the customer to find a suitable storage container.....at least that's what I think.

I have that same alphabet and I just turned one row sideways, the next row "straight", the next row sideways, etc. and that way they're not so packed in.

HTH,
