Which Alphabet set in the new Catty?
I am going to purchase my first alpha set and was wondering which set I should purchase. I want to use them to create cards -- to make words. Since I don't have a set yet, which set would you recommend as being most versitile and functional? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Beth B |
Cards for words? I think they are all too big...you may want to look into snap stamps by Karen Foster.

The rough edges alpha is small. But most of the alpha's except the large ones can be used to put a name or a word or two next to an image.
I love whimsical, and now best friends, how cute is that?!! |
I like the best friends one too ... I think I will start with the lowercase ... too cute!

If you are scrapbooking with them, I would order the Headline Alpha, it looks great and is easy to cut out for different things.
As for a smaller alpha, something smaller would be better, maybe the short-order alpha or even the alphadots--you could use a circle punch to punch them out if you wanted! |
I used lower-case Whimsical on the Father's Day card for my Dad. That was on a standard invititation-sized card, and is in my gallery if you are curious about proportion. I've since added Whimsical l-c to my wishlist. :)
