#1. I can always get a few laughs after reading through the SCS Forums. Everyone's humor and wit is WONDERFULL.
#2. It's motivated me to re-organize my stamp room. I'm jelous of the photos I've seen of everyone else's. SO I just made my poor DH spend the whole evening hanging new shelves for me and re-arranging the room. I suppose I have to let him go fishing for a whole day now!
#3. If gotton some great CASE's. And I think I've given some too, which is a great confidence booster!!!!!
#4. I've built some great long distance relationships. HI BONNIE
#5. I've learned soooooo much!!!!!!!!!!!!
#6. It's a break away from the DH, DD, & DS
#7. I learned that my YA-YA name is "Mistress Clucks Like a Chicken"
Thanks for that one Girlygirl! I've never laughed so hard!
I think you summed it up with your list! I like the warmth and friendliness of the SCS members, the quality of the samples, "meeting" new friends, and the chuckles from some of the threads. This is a great place!
Personally, I am an external validation addict. I can stamp a card that I think is the coolest in the whole world at that moment, but putting it up here and getting the feedback is what feeds my monster! After I post cards, I am up here 5 or 6 times every day for a couple of days reading comments, LOL! Feed my massive ego! Go look in my gallery, LOL!
Yeah, and I like to laugh and I like to make other people laugh too. And my YaYa name is Princess Babbles On. Where do they get that?!?!?
I appreciate the great talent and the warm hearts.
GROUP HUG!

You know what I love? How within a few months, this place and these people have become so close! Look at a few weeks ago when everyone was glued to their collective monitors waiting for word from Keri's Mom about the baby!! I still get goosebumps on that one.
Then her cyber shower......
Lisa Lisa was down......some new friends sent her flowers.
Keva needed a pick-me-up....she got ice cream!
A stamper lost everything in a fire....folks banded together and helped her out.
And that RAK group.........well that's just spreadin' good cheer all over the place!
What's not to love?? I've met so many awesome ladies here that I can't remember what I did before SCS. Frankly......who cares?!
Oh yeah. There's cards here too....;)
I love this place!!

Tops on my list:
- Camaraderie. Where else do you have over 11,000 girlfriends to talk to and share with?
- Inspiration. Oh my word! The gallery grows so much every day! So much eyecandy, so little time!
- Help. Whether it is with a technique question, or a life-changing event, scs members are there to pitch in, and quickly!
- Working here means my husband does more housework! He does the floors and the kitchen. If I can just get him to do the laundry and bathrooms, I'll be set!
- And oh yeah, that external validation thing works for me, too! ;)
My validation comes from knowing that there are 11,000 other nuts out there!! Comforting somehow, knowing I have company in my stamping passion. Some do, but, most of my tennis girls don't get it!
I agree with Jenn..eyecandy! and LOTS of it! OOOhh, just had a thought...Colin Firth and stamping!! I'm a total anglophile and think Colin Firth is yummy! (Think Bridget Jones Diary!)
It's about acceptance for me! As soon as I signed up, I was part of the group. I put somethings in my gallery (a real fear issue for me) and got positive comments. I get the tired sillies and you laugh along with me - or at least don't flame me I have a savebox with a collection of positive and/or complimentary PMs. As Sally Fields said, "You like me! You really, really like me!" (not sure that's an exact quote) Not all 11,000+, of course, but lately more & more have said so!
Thanks to all of my cyber buddies! I hope I get to meet you in person!
I agre on all points listed, and sadly my pea brain can't think of anything more to add except "ditto" and "thanks" to those that comment on the cards, respond helpfully to posts, and offer up chuckles everyday.
ooh-just thought of something-I like the avatars and "seeing" people. Love that some of you are jazzing them up.

I love SCS for ALL these reasons - the people on this site are fabulous! I also love this site because of how well it is run and maintained! Our administrative group does a brilliant job of keeping this site up and going which makes it even more fun for the rest of us! Where else do you get so much for FREE!?
Ditto to all the above! I've added a few of my own.
Let's not forget about Keri and the Troop campaign. That is HUGE!! Think about it, a group of stampers band together to send thousands of cards to our beloved troops. This one gets me everytime.
Tracy and Daven for devoting so much of their time and own money for this great site. I hope the fan club helps to pay back a portion of the $$$ you have spent.
Friends all over the world. How cool is that.
I am blessed to be a member of this great site. Thanks to all who take the time to post their great work and their kind comments. This site definitely follows the motto, "if you don't have anything nice to say...". I have never seen a mean comment on someone's sample.
This is definitely the yaya stamphood!
