Default Clear Christmas Tree Ornaments--which is the front?

I'm making some Christmas ornaments using Papertrey's Holiday Lane stamp set--so cute! I bought some clear spherical globes at Joann's for this project. They're not the kind with two halves that snap together. These are one piece and have a circular opening on one side. My question: Is this opening the front or the back of the globe? Is it a peek hole like some Easter egg decorations or is it a hole to work through when putting the stamped pieces inside? Anyone know or have an idea? I can see myself making it one way and then someone saying that I did it backwards! Lol! Btw, the only photos I could find were of larger globes and they were glass. They had either a candle or tiny plants (a terrarium). On these, the opening was the front.

I have some Precious Moments ornaments with openings, and in all cases, the openings are considered the fronts.

Thanks Linda! I've been experimenting with the globes, and the opening in the front does look better to me.
