Cool Adhesives and Ribbon

Everyone always seems to be asking about adhesives. So I wrote a post today about my two cents on the topic: http://seitlerstamps.blogspot.com/20...adhesives.html

I hope you find it helpful! And if you have any other ideas, please let me know. I'd love to try some new things, too. Thanks!

Good descriptions. Ribbon is always such a bear to get on cards but I love the way it looks. Thanks for sharing.

That was helpful. I also use mini glue dots or my Xyron sticker maker. I use both equally.

The Xyron sticker maker sounds like fun. I've never played with one...I need more stampin' buddies with craft rooms.

I only have the little "X" 150. You can buy them at Wal-Mart now for $7.97. They are normally $9.99 or more. The little X works perfectly for items under 2 inches wide and can be as long as you like. I love mine. Oh, and get the permanent adhesive cartridge instead of the repositonable. You can still move the permanent around.

If you and I were closer...you could use mine.

I try a tuck the ribbon under a layer of my card... but I also like using the adhesive disposable runners (red) found in the office supply section at Wal-Mart...

Aw! Thanks, Shannon. Someone else posted to my blog and recommened the Xyron. She mentioned that I could probably get it for $10 with a coupon. I think I'll try to do that sometime...when I have some money to spend just on myself.
