Default Adhering buttons down?

Hi, I'm finally branching out & trying to use more embellishments. I'm having trouble getting the buttons to adhere to my paper. I'm using the SU glue stick & the SU snail adhesive.

Also, I'm so embarassed to say I've still NOT figured out how to put eyelets on. The only thing I seem to use the most are the brads since those are really easy.

TIA!
Laura

How about trying the glue dots... They seem to work well for me!

I haven't ventured out much to the eyelets either... It's mostly lack of knowledge on my part. I'm with you, brads are relatively easy and that's what I usually lean towards also.

I agree - glue dots are the best for buttons and other "chunky" embellishments.

Definitely glue dots for buttons.

Eyelets just take a little practice. (But I like brads better too! )

Glue dots are the way to go! the mini- glue dots are perfect for buttons and other embellishments. If anyone asks me what my must-have items are, glue dots are one of them.

Go with the Glue Dots for buttons! They are really great, and you can use them for other things, like attaching chipboard letters or shapes, ribbon, etc.

For eyelets, I use the SU crafters toolkit. First punch a hole on your page or card using the anywhere hole punch and hammer. Then put your eyelet on so the nice side (top) is on the front of the page/card. Then use the eyelet setter and hammer to attach it. I have to wack it a few times (use the setting mat underneath!) but that should do it!
