The first time I made those, I just had to eyeball the size to cut the acetate according to the size of my glass ball ornament. Kinda held it on a piece of scrap paper and traced a circle around the glass. Then cut it a little smaller than the traced image.
In order to get it to stay you have to cut a TAB at the top of the circle shape of acetate. You use the tab to hold onto the acetate as you are lowering it into the glass ball. Once you get the acetate squeezed into the ball the tab helps you straighten and align it.
Do you know how you roll the acetate up once you have finished your decorating? Then slide it into the glass ball?
Any more help needed, please ask.
Carol

J-me,

I found that if you insert the cap with one of the prongs on either side of the circle that they stay pretty upright. Others have suggested that you cut a tab to fit up into the cap. Also....here's the template that I used. Got it from someone here....sorry, can't remember who. HTH
