Default ARGGHHH!!! UPS VENT

I've need to vent and my husband doesn't understand how I can be upset over "some old tins".

I ordered 48 tins from Speciality Bottle on 11/15 with plans to spend this weekend making presents. The order was shipped 11/16 with a delivery of 11/22. The delivery was then moved to 11/23. I've been waiting all day with UPS tracking showing "out for delivery". Now the UPS site is showing "correct street name needed - attemping to obtain information". This makes NO SENSE at all! UPS is on my street daily - and at my house weekly. I even checked the shipping invoice with Speciality and everything is perfect. All I can think is that UPS is running late with deliveries today and the driver marked it as a problem instead of staying out to deliver as I'm not in the downtown area. I know UPS was running late with deliveries - both my company & my husbands had shipments arrive about 3 hours late. UPS doesn't deliver Friday so the earliest I can hope to see this is Monday. I've sent an email on the UPS website asking for an explanation and asking it be held at the UPS center Friday so I can pick it up.

Sorry to vent - I just needed to share with someone who could understand my frustation.

We're here for you! Seems there are a lot of problems with UPS lately. I know they're not on the top of my favorite list right now. Hang in there, I hope you can get it before the weekend.

sorry to hear Lori! guess it explains why my package that is 45 miles away won't be delivered until Monday- didn't know they were closed on Friday.

Is there anyway you can do some of the project without the tins so that when they *finally* arrive you will be completely set for them? I know, it doesn't help with UPS, but hopefully they won't completely delay your project. bummer to have the plans all layed out and then get stuck for another couple of days!

sending you turkey hugs.

I hadn't even thought about doing all the cutting today and getting everything ready. I was still at the pouting because it won't be delivered stage. I am the type that will go start to finish 20 times instead of doing something assembly line style. I'll give the assembly line a try today!

Thanks and Happy Thanksgiving to All!
