Not a big fan of brayering, me, but I learned years ago from Markies Mom about sponging colour onto existing DP to alter the colours to suit a project if the DP isn't quite right |
SU must have the pattern in high gloss then. From the looks of it, they get a fairly strong white pattern, so they must be buffing that ink off with a baby wipe or clean rag.
The idea appealed to me when I think about SU inks. I'm not wild about any of their DSPs, and the thought of brayering SU inks over my own DSP (which I have tons of) seemed to fill that need to match ink to cardstock exactly - so SU! The brayering seemed like a good way to get an even tone over a large piece of DSP - but maybe not. I just didn't want the mottled look of sponging or misting, but now that I think about it, everything else I do is mottled or Pollock...
I just knew if it could be done, you guys would know how.
