My sister's shower is next spring and I've been trying to think of ideas as gifts to give all of the attendees. The basic theme is a tea party. I was thinking of making a Totally Tote-bag for every guest (approximately 80-100)? First....am I crazy?! I was thinking that if I got started now it shouldn't be a problem and I would just use the paint prints stamp so I wouldn't have to do any coloring! Second...what can I put in them? I was thinking some tea bags, but what else?
What's a Totally tote-bag and how big is it? If it's any bigger than the size of your hand, I think you're nuts! ;) Maybe you should make a few now and see if you get sick of doing it. As for what to put in them, along with a tea bag you could put in some honey straws- plastic tubes a little smaller than the size of straw with honey in it. Some kind of candy or cookie is always good. 80 people is a huge shower!! Wow, where is this being held?
Sounds like a huge undertaking! Aren't you sweet, and speaking of sweet, how about adding some sugar packets, a pretty napkin (paper), and some type of stirrer??

I recently made favors for my sil's baby shower and cased some ideas from this site. I used the bag-a-lope idea and made it into a onesie and then put tile magnets stamped with a teddy bear in them with homemade chocolates. I made 50 in all but not at one sitting. I took my time and did a few a night for a week or so therefore I didn't get burned out. You're not crazy for wanting to to it. They will be greatly admired and appreciated. Good luck!
