Default fixing petal point ink pads!!

EEeeek! All the pads from my SU Color Box Petal Points fell off during my scrapbooking weekend. (They worked just fine the first time I used them.)

This was the second time I used them since I traded a set for them. I asked my demo about a fix and she said to use Crystal Effects--so I bought that...now is there a trick to getting them to stick with the CE? It just doesn't want to stick.

Please help

I should think this kind of stamp pad malfunction is something the company (SU! or Colorbox) would exchange for. I don't know how any adhesive would dry when covered by a pad saturated with liquid. have you called the su hotline and asked their advice?

that's a definite glitch in the colorbox pads. It is not uncommon unfortunately. I don't know why the crystal effects isn't working though....

It is definitely frustrating!! Emily's do that and I just have not bought the chalk pads because of that.

I don't have access ot the SU hotline since I am not a demo.

I don't think I will buy anymore of these, but this set I traded. They are really juicy, so I'd hate to scrap 'em. I think the juiciness of the pads is preventing the CE from working.

I had a Petal Point pad (not purchased via Stampin Up) that fell apart. I contacted Clearsnap and they told me there had been an older batch that had defects and mine must have been from that batch. They replaced the entire pad without problem. I suggest you contact Stampin Up for a replacement. Even if the glue works, you shouldn't have to repair each and every segment on a new pad set.

I sent an email to SU! Hopefully someone will answer and say yes to replacing this ink set.
