Default 12x12 pages and the gallery?

O.K. for those that post 12X12 pages do you scan them or take a digital picture? I scrap 12X12 but my scanner is to small to scan a 12x12 image. When I take a digital picture it doesn't do my page justice. (looks crummy) So how do yall do it?

I used my digital camera. They turned out pretty good; altho the color isn't usually quite right.

I have propped my 12x12 against the stairas and taken a picture that way, rather than having it lie flat. Seems to be good so far.

When I download it into my pics on my pc, i crop out the extra stuff so you see almost only the 12x12 page. HTH

I use photoshop elements and they have a function that will merge two scan together into one photo. It is super easy to use!!

The easiest "stitching" program I've ever used is Arcsoft Panorama Maker. (You canuse it to make panorama photos out of a bunch of separate photos too). arcsoft.com has a website and you can download it for a reasonable price there. Epson used to include a copy of it free in their 12 x 12 premium matte scrapbooking paper, but I don't know if they still do.

All you do is open the program scan one side of your page, then slide the page over and scan again. Then you select the 2 scans and hit "next" and the program stitches the 2 pieces together for you AUTOMATICALLY and creates a seamless 12 x 12 page. I LOVE this program. It is foolproof and worth every penny.

Thanks! Are you by chance a member of the yahoo group "Stamping Friends Forever"? I know I have seen your name somewhere before. I am in Jackie Ross' downline. Just curious!
