Which company's BG image do you feel you can put another's characters onto easily and it still feels organic?
Or just mixing brand characters on a blank back. ie: I want a fox from here and gnome from there...
Like Purple Onion....Great open kind of BG scenes I think other companies characters can go on pretty nicely like Lawn Fawn or Mama Elephant for example...

Mixing images from various companies renders very good results as a whole. I mix on a regular basis. No particular companies, just whatever I have that works well together. Thus, I don’t try to sell any of my works, as most companies have strict Angel policies, and I would have a list on the back of most of my cards.

The ones that immediately pop to mind are Lawn Fawn, Ink Blot Shop and My Favorite Things. All cute line art type images. Clearly Besotted fits with them, too.

I have been mixing and matching since the beginning.
I am just thinking for beginners it might be helpful if we can point them to brands that we feel play well. Lightning does not strike us for mixing lol. They are not familiar with all the brands yet.
Ie I like the Mama Elephant agenda series-they are tiny and great for sticking in windows, vehicles, behind a mushroom, etc. and you get a LOT of characters in one set.
As far as I know, no company currently says you cant mix on cards you sell. They do want credit though.
