{ altered ribbon tutorial }
Hi,
I just updated my blog with a tutorial that I worked on this morning... please take a peek if you're interested in a simple way to coolify your grosgrain. http://imagine-dream-create.blogspot.com/ Comments are more than welcome! Thanks for looking. |
This is a great idea for coloring ribbon. Thanks for sharing it with us! Yeh, Michaels has some great ribbon sales from time to time and with the 40% off coupon makes it even better.
You're welcome... thanks for looking.
Ya, I finally got some Michael's ribbon recently... cool cool stuff. |
That is a great idea! I was so wowed when I saw my precious do that in the spring or last fall....can't remember when.
Yes, what a cool idea! Who would've thunk to use markers to color the ribbon? Thanks!
Do you have a blog Beate? I've been wondering if you or Jenn Balcer had blogs since I think you are both so talented!!
Yes, Beate.....DO you have a blog? I miss seeing you as much these days. Is there another place we should be looking?
Oops! And I love yours, Cindy, lol! Fun way to color the ribbon....how long to dry? Or can you use it right away?

Your ribbon looks great! I love the stripe along the edge; I'll be trying that soon! TFS!

thanks for the tutorial, I had no idea you could do this. guess I need to get more markers now, huh? lol
You're welcome. Yes, you definitely need more markers. :D
Absolutely great! I'd recently stocked up on SU ribbon and with the markers this is a great way to show off both at once! It's nice to be able to do monochromatic striped ribbon with this or test out different colors on ribbon and see what happens. Love your blog!
Great tutorial! Thanks for sharing. I'm running down stairs to try this.
