Default POLL/TO HAVE A DICTIONARY SECTION. FOR STAMPERS.

This is a poll that I feel will help a lot of us,esspecially newbies and some advanced stampers.

I would like to conduct a poll where they would add a new section called a DICTIONARY SECTION.This will be stamping words that some of us may not know what they are and there uses.

For example.

crimping.what it is.and what to do with it.
Masking.how to do this.

Inks how many are there and what to do with each different kind.stazeon inks.are used for plastic.glass,wood.etc
chalk inks,classic ink.craft inks,antiquing inks,and so on.

people use certain words for stamping and some people just don't understand the terms or what they mean.this section would help define what us stampers are saying.

Then maybe if enough people do this poll they can add the Dictionary section.

Sounds great to me. I am sometimes mildly embarrassed by my own ignorance!

Great idea! I like that we have the link for the acronyms on the home page but it would be wonderful not to have to read through the whole post looking for a specific abbreviation.

I think this is a good idea, have you tried to ask any of the moderators about this or possibly Daven first? It may be something they have already looked at & decided not to do or maybe it has never been brought up.

Sounds good to me; of course, I'm not the one who has to set it up and maintain it

Sounds good to me. I think it would be very helpful to those who are new to stamping & first time visitors to SCS.

I think that this is a great idea. When I first started stamping I didn't know what many of these things were and I still wonder about the uses for many of the different inks.
