I'm really liking these Sharpie Fine Point Pens. They're acid-free, permanent, and write beautifully. I have the 6-pack, but they are also available in a 12-pack.
I still have my Zig, Creative Memories and Stampin' Up! journalers from long ago but recently I bought a new black one from American Crafts (@ Michael's) and I love it. When it's time to replace more colors, I will look for that brand.

I found out that these pens just write on paper, plain cardstock, and maybe some ribbon, not on anything plastic or with a glossy surface, like a regular Sharpie. Have they changed? Have you tried writing with them on anything other than paper?
Just wondering. Thanks!

I use them in my art journals to write over paint and other media, and I've written on vellum and the backs of my photos. They take a little while to dry on the vellum and photo backs, but they do dry. They appear to be permanent, but I haven't used anything wet over them. They are great for journaling in scrapbooks, though.

Wow! I must've gotten a bad batch then or they've improved the ink formula. I got them when they 1st became available because I thought they would work the way you described, but the ink just smeared, even when I tried to heat-set. Also, the blue and green pens both leaked in the finger-grip area. Needless to say, I never got any more. :/
Thanks for answering my question!
