Default Excited about finishing a page :)

Do any of you get excited when you finish a page? I just finished a 2 page layout from my son's preschool years (back in 2003-2004) and I just have to say... I get "Jumping up and down" excited when I finish a page!! I've been actively scrapbooking for about two years now and I only have about 10 two page layouts to the point that I would consider them "finished" LOL. That's about 20 pages total.

With 4 kids, ages 15 months to 14 years, I just don't get a chance to sit and do it often. I am in a scrapbook club so I actually create 2 two page layouts per month, but I normally only get about one finished per month.

Anyhow, just wondering if anyone esle gets as excited as I do to finish one!!

Yes I do! It seems that you never have time to do what you enjoy and when you finally sit and do it and then actually get to finish-it is very exciting! I have a 1/2 done page on my desk right now! Maybe I can work on it before everyone wakes up. I already sent my oldest off to school, maybe I can steal a few minutes before I have to get my 2nd up! The baby will sleep a little longer I hope.

Congrats on finishing that page!

I still get excited when I finish a page. There's so much work that goes into making them. I love finishing a page or a layout and then cleaning up all the supplies I used to have clear space to start on the next one

Oh yes! I'm like that too! I just really started scrapbooking last year and can count on my fingers the number of pages I did (which is to say - not a lot!) But my kids are soon to be 5 and 6 yr olds and I'm trying to scrap in the moment and not worry about their earlier years since I have those in photo albums. Otherwise I will feel discouraged that I'm never caught up! whatever I don't get to scrap will be simply in a photo album with some journaling or comment on the side. But I am just so happy (and proud of myself - haha) when I have some layouts that I've actually completed and finished with pictures.

You know what? I do both - scrap in the moment, as well as scrap the past. It just depends on what hits me and I guess I have no rhyme or reason as to when I do what page.
