Ok I back for a bit. After the fil left, I showered, got Tanner dressed then he went with DH to lowes. I vacuumed, sprayed lysol all over the house, have windows open for fresh air and I finished folding and putting away laundry. Duncan was asleep but here he comes now. He's so not himself. He didn't even say a word about DH going out and taking Tanner. I want to wip3 down the kitchen counters and bar and then maybe make myself something for breakfast...just not sure what
DH just made another pot of coffee. Need to get another cup. This pot smells like real coffee. We are still 'camping' and I he must have made a very small pot this morning for it to go so quickly. Or the first 'pot' may have just been a cup of instant and I didn't realize it. :rolleyes:
I started my menu for the week - on my Google Calendar! - so I would know what to buy at the grocery store. But it's looking pretty boring. Any suggestions for something easy and healthy and different? DH isn't crazy about pasta or rice, so I try not to do too much of that.
oh I even wen to Home Depot and bought some pendant lights for above my craft counter. They are similar to these but for a lot less. I think I bought three for the price of this guy.

well I just went upstairs to see if anyone was getting ready. Let's just say the boys are outside playing and dh is under a blanket on the sofa. I won't even tell you what he said that would get him moving...

I hope so. I need it brighter down here. DH planned on installing some flourescent lights but I was telling him how much I hate them. Well last night I found one of his suppliers catalogs, oh let me tell you I found some nice fixtures that he didn't he know existed. I just need to find a price for them.

I just realized something. I signed up to go to a Stampin Up event for next Saturday (I think) and nick has a football game that morning. Don't know yet if DH will be working or hunting. hmm... I may have to cancel. You would think we would have gotten some notice about where and what we need to bring by now... oh and how many swaps we need to make.

That sounds good! But unless you had like half the cake, a slice of the cake probably didn't have any more calories than a good breakfast - just didn't get the nutrition and stick to your ribs that the traditional breakfast may have provided.

I need to make some cards... I am actually thinking of just getting the paper and stuff ready to do the cards and putting it in ziplocs with a pic of the finished card... then take it with me to clarksville to do.
