LSC228 (7/10/09) Crop it
I'm not sure what happened to our hostess but since it's past 10am..I'll post a challenge...
Today's challenge is to take an image, and crop it for you card. Let's see what you can do to change things up with a full image.
Limit:
1. Crop an image
2. Repeat the cropped image on your card at least 3 times
3. As for embellishments, let's go basic: brads and eyelets only!
Example:
Congrats
Keyword: LSC228
LSC228 Gallery
Uploading: Remember the keyword is without spaces. Use a comma between keywords with a space after each comma.
If you are new to the challenges, please feel free to do this one or ANY of the challenges at any time. There is no time limit. They are not races to see who can do one first, nor are they contests of any sort. All the challenges are simply to provide inspiration and to get us stamping!
Need help linking a card? Follow these instructions!
1. Open 2 windows: One window for your card and one for this thread.
2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link.
3. Got to your card window. Highlight the address for your card. (It says www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on)
4. Click EDIT. Click COPY
5. Go back to this thread. Click PASTE.
You’re done!

Hey Thanks for taking over-- can hardly wait to get home to "crop" three times -- and use my Crop-A-Dile.

I'm sure you will come up with some fabulous ideas!! Think about those older SU sets where the image was an object from nature, cropped...I should go looking in those galleries!

Part of an image repeated at least three times on your card. Dawn's sample really helps explain that, so everyone take a look!

I think I saw that Stampin Annie had a card in the gallery and said she was the hostess and put the challenge with her card in stead of here? see here:

Just as well I came home and went to bed with a headache for a couple of hours without even turning the PC on - sorry you had computer problems, Jeanne. They're a bummer.
Got to go and think now, Dawn - that's not good for my head. Only joking - looking forward to being inspired by this.

I'm such a goofball! Shaking my head and laughing at myself. Those of you who have been doing the challenges for awhile and know me by my former username will understand why. I was so focused on the repeated image that I forgot the embellishment restrictions.
But I do like my card. I just can't use the keyword.

Thanks for the interesting challenge. This would help if one had just a few stamp sets; one could get different images from the same stamps. I cut a small flower from inside a larger flower that I didn't realize was even there.

Thanks for the great challenge! I really had fun creating my card. I actually made 2 cards. . .the first one, I made a mistake and added buttons for my embellishment. . .I created a second card using brads as called for in the challenge.
First Card with the buttons
Second Card with the brads
