I think I could be doing this challenge for a while now - take for instance, the word by word background that just got mounted yesterday, and ribbon that I've had since I started stamping (1 1/2 years ago!) that was $1 at Big Lots, and I never could put it to use. I also did another one, but I'm not sure I posted it here, so here are my three!!!

Here's another card I made for this challenge which really helped me use a lot of the Basic Grey paper (before my new stuff arrived!); Thanks Jen!

Awesome Challenge Jen! I would be emberassed to say that I have stamps and supplies that are 10+ years old that have not yet been used, they were just too cool to pass up, except I kind of have the feeling I am not alone!
I have a dragon blowing flames on a hot dog made by Mostly Animals that I got in '92 that I have never used, but he cracked me up so much that I had to have him. My son Trevor (then 5) asked me if he could have it after I died (yes, I sleep with one eye open!)...so I guess that is my morbid justification...the kids will get them all in the will!! hehehe....
I was thrilled to try this second challenge, and I hope I did it right. I got this paper piercer from Lasting Impressions (the co. that makes awesome brass stencils) as I was wanting to learn to do some sewing on cards... I kept putting it off as it sounded too time consuming. I actually found out its easy to do, and really fun! I liked the end result too, as it adds kind of a new dimension to stamping alone! Here is my project!

I bought a distressing kit with a gift certificate from Christmas '05. I finally used it for this book!

I can't think of anything I bought in 2006, and didn't use the second I got it home. I'll have to skip this one.

It was great to use a stamp that I haven't really ever used much.

Another REALLY dusty stamp has found it's way to my stamping table! Again, I never really liked how this looked colored with markers, but the Aqua-painter and re-inkers really look great! It's like getting NEW stamps when you discover an old one that looks great!
