LSC156 - Signature Style
Well, you're not actually going to be signing the front of your card with your name, but you will be using your own handwriting. (Signature Style sounded better than Just Write It at 2:30 AM ) Use your own handwriting on the front of your card. It can be the main sentiment, part of the sentiment, or even part of the design like in a background. I chose the last idea in my sample card found here.
Keyword: LSC156
Stamps: any
Paper: Limit the layers.
Tools: anything quick
Embellishments: Limit the quantity.
LSC156 Gallery
If you are new to the challenges, please feel free to do this one or ANY of the challenges at any time. There is no time limit. They are not races to see who can do one first, nor are they contests of any sort. All the challenges are simply to provide inspiration and to get us stamping!
Need help linking a card? Follow these instructions!
1. Open 2 windows. One window for your card and one for this thread.
2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link.
3. Got to your card window. Highlight the address for your card. (It says www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on)
4. Click EDIT. Click COPY
5. Go back to this thread. Click PASTE.
Your done!

Thanks Jen for the challenge. It is hard to use our own handwriting isn't it? So this truly is a challenge. Sorry to hear about your grandpa.

Jen, I'm so sorry to hear of your loss! You and your family are in my prayers. I don't normally do this challenge, but since it's 4:30 a.m. and I can't sleep . . . maybe I should. I'll be back later with results. Thanks for the challenge and I'm glad you are back.

Go Darlene, go!
Interesting challenge, Jen! No point in going back to bed at this point, so I'll give it a whirl before I go to work!

Okay... mine looks better in person, but, because of vellum.... kinda hard to see.... the description explains my "signature style" Thanks for looking..... I don't think it is too bad for 2:00am.... I can't sleep... agh.

Thought of all the neat coffee-themed stamps I have at the store, and came up with my sentiment. But the stamps are at the store, and I don't go into work until later, so luckily I found that I had some Crafty Secrets Cotton Scraps that worked well, too! Fun challenge... thanks Jen!

As I said in my description, I can't think of anything worse to put on a card than my handwriting - except a staple!

Great challenge, Jen. I'm always afraid to write on my card, figuring that will be where I mess up what I already did. But I'll give it a shot.
