LSC112 - Wild About Birthdays
Well, since Emily celebrated her birthday with her favorite colors this week, I thought I would celebrate my birthday, too! (Please don't feel you have to send me a card, though. Seriously. )
If you have been to my gallery, you have probably guessed that I like cutesy animal and creature cards. So, this week, we are making birthday cards with animals, bugs, and/or creepy crawly creatures.
So, what's the catch?
Well... This is the limited supply challenge! But instead of limiting supplies this week, I'm limiting the time. After all, if you're like me, you never have that birthday card made until the last minute.
You have only 45 minutes to make your card.... Just like in VSN.
My Sample
http:////www.splitcoaststampers.com/...e=all&way=desc
Keyword: LSC112
Theme: birthdy cards with animals, bugs, or creatures
Limit: 45 minutes or less
If you are new to the challenges, please feel free to do this one or ANY of the challenges at any time. There is no time limit. They are not races to see who can do one first, nor are they contests of any sort. All the challenges are simply to provide inspiration and to get us stamping!
Need help linking a card? Follow these instructions!
1. Open 2 windows. One window for your card and one for this thread.
2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link.
3. Got to your card window. Highlight the address for your card. (It says www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on)
4. Click EDIT. Click COPY
5. Go back to this thread. Click PASTE.
Your done!

Happy Birthday! 45 minutes - should be fun. I don't think it will be tonight though, but I should be able to do it tomorrow a.m. during naptime (baby's not mine!).
Do butterflies count as bugs?

I did the card in the time limit - uploading is taking a bit more time!!
This example uses a couple of favorites - Cuttlebug and Fluffles.
This also gave me a chance to use my new WalMart ribbon - $.25/spool!
http:////www.splitcoaststampers.com/...00&ppuser=2873
And, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Jen. Thanks for all the challenges. You amaze me - teaching and still keeping up with so much here on SCS.

Since we only had 45 minutes, I had to fall back on an old favorite - oval punch mice.
Have a mice birthday!

Great challenge, Jen, and Happy Birthday! You have the same birthday as my sister. Wish I could have had a wee bit more time to add some shadows and more sponging but then I guess it wouldn't have been a challenge.
