F4A78 - Embossing Central - 08/19/11
F4A78 – Embossing Central … – 08/19/11
I remember the very first time I saw a Cuttlebug. It was BRAND SPANKIN’ NEW at my local craft store. The gal at the demo desk reminded me of Franky Four Fingers ... “Pssstt!! Lady!! Ya wanna see somethin’ COOL??” I just about DIED when she ran that embossing folder through the thing and it came out ... magically ... on the other side completely and expertly embossed ... in like FOUR SECONDS. I HAD to have one!!!
I own more embossing folders than I care to admit ... Hence, today’s challenge. Use one of your lovely embossing folders as the FOCAL image on your creation. Remember, embossing folders AREN’T just for backgrounds!!
Just got done completing 80 wedding invites for a friend of mine. AND they fit perfectly for this challenge. Check it out:
Scott & Jessica

If you are new to the challenges, please feel free to do this one or ANY of the challenges at any time. There is no time limit. They are not races to see who can do one first, nor are they contests of any sort. All the challenges are simply to provide inspiration and to get us stamping!

This was a "thinker" challenge, Wendy. Like you stated, many of us use EFs all the time for backgrounds.....but a focal point, another matter! Thanks!

It's not always easy to photograph an embossed-only card -- that was a challenge in itself! But, here's my card -- Christmas Embossing.

Great challenge, Wendy It's so strange how we use these gorgeous textured embossing folders and have a tendency to cover them up! Time to let them shine!

Here is my Noel Collage card. I used the larger Holly Ribbons embossing folder on the white background. Now I want ALL of the embossing folders to be in the larger size!

What a great challenge Wendy.
Embossing folders make such great backgrounds, but its fun to try to use them as the main element!

That was some challenge - I primarily consider embossing folders to be background material , but combined with the colored embossing technique I think I managed to rise to the challenge of making it my focal point.
