Specifically Speaking

Years ago, my grandmother gave flowers to a woman who was laid up for some reason or another. That sweet lady then wrote my grandmother a thank you note for them. But, on the front she had drawn the actual bouquet of flowers! Wowzers!!

Now that the holidays have passed and we have started a new year, it's time to get writing thank yous. Let's create a thank you card that showcases the gift that we received. For instance, my sweet niece tied me a fleece blanket with gnomes, which I have loved since I was a very little girl! My husband gifted me XM Radio for a year. I love music so I am in HEAVEN!! Plus, I got a new speaker/cd player stereo set up for the kitchen. So fun to stream XM in the kitchen!! (I hope I get this every year!!)

Here are my thank you note examples that show give a wink and tip of the hat to the gift I received:

Autumn's fleece blanket thank you

Ken's XM Radio subscription thank you

I absolutely loved this challenge! Thank you for sharing the idea, Dana! I created an Echo Dot card using supplies that I had in my stash. It was super fun.

Such a terrific challenge for today, and perfect timing, as I was getting ready to send my DD a card anyway.

Thanks for the Jammies! by Kemernow - at Splitcoaststampers
