F4A344 - "Into the Woods" - 09/23/16
F4A344 - "Into the Woods" - 09/23/16
I was originally in a quandary when I was trying to think of something for this week's Free for All challenge. So I just started looking through my stampin' goodies to see what I WANTED to use. Thoughtful Branches, the thinlits and the Woodgrain TIEF seemed like a good combo, so I ran with it.
This week we are going Into the Woods. Bring out your woodgrain!! (Ok ... I'm having a flashback to "Monty Python and the Holy Grail"... "Bring out yer dead!" Sorry ... I digress ...). Whether it's an image, embossing folder, wooden embellishment or even a TREE image (if you get desperate!) ... bring on the wood!!
Here is my sample:
Mums for You
Keyword: F4A344

Uploading: Remember the keyword is without spaces. Use a comma between keywords with a space after each comma.
If you are new to the challenges, please feel free to do this one or ANY of the challenges at any time. There is no time limit. They are not races to see who can do one first, nor are they contests of any sort. All the challenges are simply to provide inspiration and to get us stamping!

Thanks, Wendy!! Since I posted a faux-wood card earlier this week, how about tree branches instead? Here is my card and treat box:

F4A344 Lamb in the Woods
Wendy- great challenge, thanks! I started this card yesterday, but couldn't find the frame that worked. Using the embossed wood grain and raffia tie for warmer tones was just the ticket! Here's Lamb in the Woods

Fun fall challenge Wendy. (BTW, you have the wrong keyword on your link to the gallery, even tho you linked it to the right gallery.)
By coincidence, I had a lovely piece of faux woodgrain, made by one of the Teapot Tuedsay stampers, sitting at the ready. Here's my card.

I was SO excited to see you choose Woodgrain as the challenge this week, Wendy! Anything wood is my guilty stamper pleasure and I have been making cards like a crazy woman since I saw the challenge on Friday. Finally decided to take the time from stamping and start uploading.
Here's one of the first cards I cobbled together with parts and pieces:
F4A344 Splendiferous Day! by Boss - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers
Thanks for hitting my hot button with this challenge, Wendy! My stamp room looks like a thousand frenzied elves hit it!
