F4A173 - "Pleats & Ruffles!" - 06/14/13

Such a "hot" trend right now ... pleats and/or ruffles!! So the challenge this week is to add some sort of pleat or ruffle to your creation (or BOTH!)! Paper, ribbon ... you choose how to add them!

I chose to do BOTH ... and this was the sample I used for today's FabFriday challenge as well (the challenge was to use ALL of Stampin' Up's NEW In Colors!).

Wonderful challenge, Wendy. This was a stretch, but there were pleats and a little ruffle on the dress. Just made the card and saw that it barely met the criterion for the challenge. Here it is:

This is not a card but a gift tag. I used drywall mesh tape to stipple/stencil around the focal image. What fun that technique is!!
