Love reading - just wish I had more energy for it these days! I got several books read while I was sick for a couple of weeks in Feb, and used one of those to inspire my card.
And I'll certainly enjoy reading everybody else's recommendations. To this day I remain baffled by a removal man, who had come to give us a quote, asking me what we did with all our books. What did he think we did with them .
Reading a glossy book with great photos of Downton Abbey- so I made this elegant card for a friend. Added some 'Egyptian" style trim and ribbons for fun. Here's Purple and Black

Well, I love Jane Austin but I think I have to give up on that idea...I just can't think of stamps for it.
Maybe some stuff I used to read my kids would be easier!

I did finally come up with a couple of ideas today but got home too late and was too tired to stamp. (I know how can that be, but just couldn't get enthused about it tonight). So I'll be back tomorrow. Had lots of fun reading about all your choices of books though!

I love to read and had to join this challenge. Here is my mountain sympathy card.
The card doesn't begin to capture the wildness of the mountain in Lori Lansens "the Mountain Story" but I always get more ink on me when masking so I feel connected to the card and the story.
