While we spend time celebrating others and their birthdays, today is the day we want to see you celebrate your birthday. Create a birthday card featuring the color of YOUR BIRTHSTONE...plus one other color. Bonus piece of cake if you use a gemstone in the same color of your birthstone. Let's see those birthstones! Here's a chart to help you out!
If you are new to the challenges, please feel free to do this one or ANY of the challenges at any time. There is no time limit. They are not races to see who can do one first, nor are they contests of any sort. All the challenges are simply to provide inspiration and to get us stamping!

Fun challenge, Dawn. Not only is my birthday in August, but many of my friends also share the month. Glad to build up a stash for those special days. Thanks.
A bunch of August babies, surrounding two January and a June, so far. I love it. Thanks everyone for participating. I love August because only once did I have to go to school on my birthday (summer school, took typing because I couldn't fit it in during the year).

went with a purple themed card for February- used patterned dp for my background, along with black framing. Added some black zigzag washi tape borders, along with an iridescent enamel dot. Here's how delightful

Can I take it that if I use like Emerald (May) and Amethyst together as my two colors that I could use some neutrals with it such as ivory/tan and/or skin colors?

My birthday month is August...gemstone Peridot, a soft pale green with a touch of yellow, though it can come in other shades of green, but less common. Here is my card using the soft green: Pines at Christmas!
