F4A42 - Christmas Cards "On the Fly" - 12/10/10
F4A42 Christmas Cards On the Fly 12/10/10
You know how sometimes when you are on your way out the door to a holiday party and you suddenly realize you dont have a card or ANYthing for the hostess??? The challenge today is to create a card on the fly meaning in 15 minutes or less!! (Doesnt have to necessarily be Christmas, but a holiday card IS what we are going for.) I will allow you to think about your card and not count THOSE minutes the thinking ones as part of your total time, k??? Go get em ladies!! Here is my sample: Come Let Us Adore Him Keyword: F4A42 F4A42 Gallery Uploading: Remember the keyword is without spaces. Use a comma between keywords with a space after each comma. If you are new to the challenges, please feel free to do this one or ANY of the challenges at any time. There is no time limit. They are not races to see who can do one first, nor are they contests of any sort. All the challenges are simply to provide inspiration and to get us stamping! Need help linking a card? Follow these instructions! 1. Open 2 windows: One window for your card and one for this thread. 2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link. 3. Got to your card window. Highlight the address for your card. (It says www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on) 4. Click EDIT. Click COPY 5. Go back to this thread. Click PASTE. Youre done! |

Ah, I will think about this in work this morning, hopefully then I can do a speedy job when I got home.
Just so long as you don't include desk-tidying time, LOL. |
That's what I need as I still need MORE Christmas cards! Thanks, Wendy!

Great challenge for this morning, Wendy. I'm leaving the house in about five minutes! Here's my Quick Silver Bell.

These are the kinds I throw together the best. I look at what's available on my scrap table and glue it together quickly. LOL I guess it pays to not clean up after every project, huh??? Here's my card:

I went with the anything for this challenge as my oldest will be going to her friends houses a lot during the holiday season (like tonight!) so I would like to send a little something to the parents for having all the kids over! lol Here is my F4A42 Happy Holidays_ajh by bambi64 - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers

Really scary challenge for me, Wendy! When y'all mention 15 min or CAS, my head spins around. Not a good look for me. Anyway, here's my attempt 3 Wise Men. Thanks so much for looking!

Guffaw! I couldn't even drill down to a desk surface in 15 minutes. Am currently mired in writing/addressing holiday cards. Hey, at least they're designed--produced. I plan to enjoy each and every one of your 15-minute beauties in the gallery, though. Happy Holidays, everyone.

Wendy, thank you for this perfect challenge today. Since I had the poinsettia already assembled, I made this in about 12 minutes - a record for me.

I had to do a card this time around. I think these will actually be my husband's Christmas cards for his clients since it will be easy to mass produce.

Using a Flower Soft card topper made this "on the fly" card a snap -- 5 minutes! Here's my Front Door at Christmas. It took longer to take the photo and upload the card than it did to put it together!
