Welcome to the Scrapbooking Variety Challenge. No rules in particular on this challenge, just have fun and get those memories scrapped! Here's our January challenge.
Do you have a few go-to tools that you find yourself reaching for every time you create a page? Today, I am challenging you to set those aside and pick up at least one tool that you have either never used or that tends to get ignored, and then use it on your layout. This tool will be different for everyone, so I can’t wait to see what’s been gathering dust in your toolbox! Bonus points if you use more than one neglected tool. Don’t forget to let us know what tool you used, and, just for fun, what is your go-to tool that you chose not to use on this layout?
I thought I had posted here last week but it must have been in the main thread...I did find my tool that I have tried to purge many a time over the years but still it ends up back in my tool box. No one else wants it either!!!
I have thrown it in the trash more than once and end up taking it out, I even gave it away but she brought it back!!! I don't even know what it is called but has been in my supplies for decades!!

Now to get a page done using that tool!
Sharon,
Ohhhh you are killing me....:o
I am so intrigued WHAT the TOOL IS????
What might she have had for decades that no one else wants that she tries to live without but can't???
My mind is whirling...anyone want to guess with me?
Crimper?
Brayer?
Eyelet Setter?
Hmmmmm......
I made 2 LOs this arvo using 2 punches that I rarely use and I also got out the eyelet setter and had a whacking good time. I used this last year and still had forgotten how to use it properly. I don't think I did it right and hopefully the eyelets won't fall out..lol. I found a sketch online for a 12x12 LO and modified it...quite a bit lol for my 7x9 page. Thanks for the challenge Cheryl.
I had to go outside to take the photo of the second one....TFL

Coming in late to the party this month to finish this page. Had a hard time coming up with a tool.. think I was overthinking it. Realized my Cuttlebug made a good choice because I rarely use it to emboss things for my scrapbooks. But I like the results, so will have to remedy That!

I am just now reading this forum. Gotta know, what is the craft tool that just won't die? Can you post a pic? Thanks.
