I followed her directions pretty closely except I didn’t use staples as after a couple it got kind of bulky. I used small pieces of tacky tape instead.
hope you do too Melanie. they are really pretty simple. add as many or as few flower layers as you want. I didn't try a cut out stamped flower, but bet those would work also.
How funny! I actually have a post-it in my "idea pile" to try something like this. I hadn't even tried yet...yours is MUCH more ELABORATE than what I was brainstorming - IT'S BEAUTIFUL!

Maybe even one stamped on vellum?
I like the stamped on vellum idea. Wonder how it would work as a snowflake?

Wow, this is great! I have something that I am making as a gift and these will be great. Not a page but will definitely try these. Thanks for a great challenge!

even if it's not a layout, please post so we can see your wonderful creation!
Peggy, I completely adore your flowers and page - as usual you are an amazing scrapper with such attention to detail. I know I can always go to your gallery for inspiration!
I made some of the flowers and really like how they turned out, just that little bit of 'extra' to add to some low key flowers. I am making a scrapbook for my niece's new baby girl. The pages are all blank, ready for her to add her photos as baby Kenna grows. So I didn't upload my page to the gallery. Here is a thumbnail of one of my flowers.
Again, thanks for helping me add a little more to my pages!
I used glue dots to adhere my ribbon ends to my cardstock circle base and when all the ribbons were attached I secured them with three staples that caught all of the ends. I'm excited to make more of these with some paper and stamped flowers as well.
