SBTC82 September 14, 2007 "Winds of Change"

Since a theme hasn't been posted yet, I'm going to jump in and post this one now. If I'm out of line, someone please tell me!

It seems that September always marks the change of the seasons. Even when I was growing up in Mississippi, it was sometime in September that we had our first chilly nights. It may not last and in a couple of days be sweltering hot again. But we knew the change was coming.

So our theme this week is "Winds of Change". Scrap an event or a moment or a . . . whatever you want that records a change or a transition.

Or . . . Use colors that change or transition - example: red to orange to yellow.

Or . . . Let's see some wind! You know, all those swirls and flourishes that we love so much.

Have fun. I'm looking forward to seeing your results!

I really can't wait to see your awesome pages. I haven't done a sample yet. DH called earlier and said he was going to take a long lunch and take me to a computer store. (He needs a new laptop, but I think he feels guilty about getting one without getting me something, too. :rolleyes But then he sent me an IM saying a work order came in that he had to take care of so he's going to leave a little early this afternoon. After we get back, I'll try to work on a sample page. But don't let that stop you from posting your layouts if you finish before me!

Flower Parade

The flowers on the right are free-handed and change from sky blue at the bottom to violet at the top. I live in Hawaii so I don't really get the changing of the seasons too much so I decided to change my colors. I also followed the sketch somewhat but wasn't sure if I followed it enough to list it as a sketch challenge.
