Default SBVC157 - Tear It Up (8/17/11)

I apologize for getting this posted so late. I just realized what day it was.

So, onto the challenge. There is just something about tearing paper. It's destructive but fun and I love the look of torn paper. Of course it's kinda creepy too if you have ever seen the movie, Langoliers.

My challenge to you for this week is to tear your paper. It can be a border or a flower created by tearing the paper to shape it or however you want to TEAR IT UP!

I don't have a new page to show you yet (still haven't been able to get in my craft room to scrap) but here is a page from my gallery where I tore the paper for the border.

Please use keyword SBVC157 when you upload your page and add a link to it in this thread.

Enjoy!

Your page is awesome, Michele. It really does inspire me to do some paper tearing which I haven't done in a very long time!

I'll have to see if I can find those "torn" papers in my stash or the masks that I know I've seen that create the look of torn papers....hmmm....maybe I can use them this weekend for the ABC album....

Here is my page. I did this for the mini VSBN (Letter C & D) but I forgot to come back and link it in this thread...sorry for being so delayed! For the torn paper, I found a digi tutorial and created the corner...worked pretty well too!

Letter C
Letter D
